Wild TM2 rangefinder
The WILD TM2 rangefinder serves for measuring ranges comprised between 300 and 30,000 M. The measuring base has a length of 80 cm. The two tripods, which are part of the standard equipment, allow the observer to use the rangefinder in a kneeling or prone position. Because of its wide measuring range and light-weight design, this is the range finding instrument best suited for the needs of the infantry and light field artillery.
Some sites also list the Wild TM2 a Wild M/41 or Wild M41 ... but the right short name is Wild TM2 (TM stands for TeleMeter, the German name for range finder) |
