The Wild GB 6P and GB 6 binocular goniometers are rugged instruments for measuring horizontal and vertical angles by direct mechanical readings without altering the telescope position, and for distance measurement to a staff of known length. First-class wide-angle optics enable these instruments to be used for observation purposes. The horizontal drive is disengageable for rapid pointing. The interpupillary distance (eye base) is adjustable.
The elbow telescope is designed for comfortable viewing. The coincidence-reading fullcircle compass makes possible rapid orientation in the field. The illumination also permits measuring in the dark.
